The Wonder Tea That Can Lower Cholesterol Naturally

High cholesterol is affecting more and more people these days. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), approximately one in every six adults—that’s 16.3% of the U.S. adult population—has high total cholesterol.  Those are some scary numbers, folks!

So, what is “high”?  Technically if your total cholesterol is 240 mg/dL and above, it’s high.  The problem with having high cholesterol is that you have twice the risk of heart disease as people with optimal levels – optimal levels being lower than 200 mg/dL.

Luckily, there’s a delicious solution to combat high cholesterol and leave you looking beautiful!  It’s roobios tea.

According to a study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, tea from the roobios plant can lower cholesterol and increase internal antioxidant production, thereby reducing your risk for heart disease!   Those mighty little antioxidants also combat free radicals to stave off premature aging and leave your skin glowing.  Drink up!
