Belly fat is perhaps the most hated kind of fat around. We all want slim, trim tummies but for many, it’s like fighting an uphill battle! Well, not anymore!
New research shows that eating more fiber can radically trim your waistline! People who increased their fiber intake over a two-year period had significant decreases in the amount of fat around their waists while people who reduced their fiber intake saw their bellies expand.
Based on the current findings, researchers noted that increasing fiber intake by just 6 grams a day (the amount found in just ½ cup of beans!) could have a big impact on belly fat!
From my own personal experience, I can tell you that normally the first thing I have my clients do is increase their fiber intake! Not only does it help reduce fat but it also curbs your appetite and cravings.
If you have problems increasing your fiber, try SoCal Cleanse’s Organic Protein +Fiber hemp shake. Just one serving has almost 50% of your daily recommended intake and it’s super easy to blend, enjoy, and go!

Dear Cynthia,
I found your website very useful! Thank you for your positive and cheerful attitude.
My question to you is about putting on weight rather than getting slimmer. I am someone who loses weight easily, in fact it is a challenge to put on weight! This may sound strange but for my height I am underweight and would like to put on a couple of kilos.
I have a healthy lifestyle, don’t smoke, don’t drink and have a balanced diet. Please could you advise me what to add into my diet in order to achieve my goal.
Many thanks,
Anna
I definitely notice how my body feels and starts to look if I neglect my fiber intake. Makes a huge difference — of course in combination with other things like my water, my exercise, the other foods I choose to eat…but I see changes pretty quickly when I increase fiber!
Love your blog
