Pink is known worldwide for her vocal skills and attitude- but her muscular, athletic body has been known to overshadow all else. Pink shares the details of her daily workout (which she does completely trainer-free!) in this month’s issue of Women’s Health.
So what does it take to get Pink’s body?
Pink does one hour of cardio and one hour of yoga or P90X (a crosstraining workout), plus a 30 minute warmup for her shows… six days a week!
But there must be a day off now and then- right?
“I try to make [a day off] a show day so I’m still getting cardio. I have to be able to run up those stairs as many times as I do and be able to sing at the same time. I’m an asthmatic. I have to be on that treadmill singing to get my lungs right.”
Pink also says that comments on her “masculine” figure are common- but she’s confident about her body.
“I get a lot of flak for it… people saying it’s not normal for a girl… But I’m OK with it. I think it’s because I was a gymnast for eight years, from ages four to 12. My body was made before my bones were fully grown. Gymnasts are short, stocky, muscular powerhouses.”
We’re incredibly impressed with Pink’s athletic ability and stamina- and the fact that she’s doing it all on her own. We’d say that she looks more fit and confident than ever before!
