As we mentioned before, Jessica Simpson has been in talks to be a part of a new reality show on VH1 called “The Price of Beauty”. Her reps have now confirmed that the singer will, indeed, be a part of the show and that she looks forward to exploring the lengths people will go to in order to look beautiful. Jessica herself released a statement saying,

“When [I was approached] for a show about true beauty, I was immediately intrigued.  I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect. I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this journey.”

Not only will the “Come On Over” songbird be hosting the show, she will also be trying some of the beauty tactics, fad diets, and other regimens that she discovers. We can’t wait to see what she finds on her travels and we’re looking forward to tuning in!
