Cynthia,
What great information, it makes perfect sense. I was eating 5 to 6 small meals a day trying to loose weight and boost my metabolism, but I felt tired and more depleted. I went back to eating 3 balanced meals a day along with exercising regularly and I feel so much better.
Thanks, Jessica
That’s fantastic, Jessica! It’s so important to know what works for YOUR body and I’m glad you experimented to find that out. And seriously, it’s hard enough taking time to eat 3 meals a day, let alone 5 or 6!
Thanks for the info, Cynthia. Very enlightening. It will certainly make me think about how and how often I am eating, because Lord knows, I’m not getting any younger. LOL
Hello, sister! I’m with you there!!
Wow Cynthia! This is some pretty amazing information. I’m going to cut back on my meals pronto and will let you know the results! I am going to share this information with everyone I know!
Isn’t it crazy, Sara?! Please keep me posted on your results!!
This is something I’m so glad to hear because I could never figure out the time to be able to eat the 5/6 mini meals a day, especially if you’re drinking water in between meals and waiting for your food to have time to digest before drinking water. I usually have 2 meals, maybe 3 a day. So I’m curious about what your thoughts are on a small snack once during the day or would that be counter productive? Always love the tips
Merci!
It’s tough, Joi! I think a small snack – if you’re really, truly hungry (for food – not comfort, not excitement, etc.) then it’s fine. Just watch your portion sizes and it’s fine!
SO glad you like the tips!!
I have NEVER heard this before. I’m a bit shocked because this is what I was starting to do myself. I gather that what may seems to work for one may not work for all. It’s going to take some time to process this. I watched this documentary in Atlanta called Forks Over Knives which threw me on my head gave me a good shake. I’m a meat eater, I had meat 2 times in 3 weeks since I saw the film, highly unusual for me, it made me not want it anymore. I do see the wisdom in a plant based diet and eating 3 square meals a day. It’s the mind set that has to be flipped that is what is hard for me now. I’m on change my lifestyle overload, what do you do first, lol. I’m excited to learn how to help myself. So thank you for that Cynthia♥
Hey Tracey! I absolutely LOVE Forks Over Knives! It’s an amazing film that I think everyone should see. A plant-based diet with 3 meals a day is absolutely what I preach and I’m so proud of you for starting the journey to change your life. My best advice – baby steps!
Take it slow and easy and start implementing small changes one day at a time. They add up fast! xo
Interesting information! Never heard of this before. I will keep eye on my skin more carefully when doing these diets in which are recomended 5 or 6 meals per day!
Hi Cynthia,
I saw you on the Dr. Phil show and, like many others ordered your PINK method. Received it today and am so excited to start tomorrow.. Reading your advice in the handbook made me want to find more tips from you and luckily I found your website. Thank you so much for the personal interactions you have with members. Just from watching the video and seeing you respond to each comment really shows that you are as (if not more) committed to our success as we are. I have been grocery shopping already and am starting in the morning. Thank you for helping me along my way.
