Fergie Works on Fitness with Marie Claire

In the August issue of Marie Claire, Fergie (aka Stacy Ferguson), talks about losing the 17 pounds she put on for her role as Saraghina, a buxom prostitute in Rob Marshall’s razzmatazzy big-screen spectacle Nine, which premieres this November.  Being no stranger to the gym, Fergie just did what came natural when working out although she did say it was no picnic!

“I’ve been busting my ass, training.  Being around the guys, they’re like a fraternity—I know what they look at. I don’t want to have a song like ‘My Humps’ and it be sagging down, so I pay attention to that area. A lot.”

As for relaxing when she’s on the road, Fergie says,

“I just put on music, get her on speakerphone, and lay back. Balance is something I’ll always work on.”

And of course, those visits from new hubby Josh Duhamel sure don’t hurt her relaxation efforts!
