Liam Hemsworth Reveals His Secret to Abs of Steel

Miley Cyrus’s boyfriend Liam Hemsworth showed off his abs of steel in The Last Song, leaving women everywhere swooning and men everywhere envious!

The actor, 20, says his physique “didn’t come easy,” and he trained six days a week to get in shape. His favorite exercises? Surfing, lifting weights and boxing.  Liam told People,

“Surfing has been my main sport growing up, so that’s always helped.”

Just don’t ask him to get on a treadmill!  The star says,

“I feel like it’s the most boring thing, sitting on the treadmill or on a bike. It just explodes my mind!”

During his “offseason,” Liam confesses that his guilty pleasures include hamburgers and pizza. He says,

“The hamburgers in America are the best in the world.  Mel’s Diner in L.A. – they are my favorite hamburgers. I could eat there everyday. They are ridiculous.”

So, do Liam and Miley workout together?  Not a chance, says Liam.

“She does a lot of dancing – so that’s her workout.  I couldn’t keep up with her dancing because she’s super flexible and she’s throwing up her legs up around her head and stuff like that.”

Resistance bands are great for working out at home. Not only are they affordable, they take up very little space in your home. You can travel with them too. I’ve got some free exercises that
your readers might be interested in. They’re live daily workouts, but they record them so
they can be watched when you have time. I like these because I don’t get bored like I do with
DVD’s. Every day they have a new workout, but it’s complimentary to the previous day’s
workout. They’ve got a good mix of cardio and strength training. There are workouts for
men, women, and teens. It’s like having a personal trainer in your own home.
