Seven months ago, Drew Carey was 80 pounds heavier. Today the TV star tells People magazine that he started doing cardio, drinking water and cutting carbs to shed weight fast. And as he lost the extra pounds, he lost his Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis as well. “I’m not diabetic anymore. No medication needed,” he said.

“I like being skinny. I was sick of being fat on the camera. Really, I just got sick of it,” Drew said.

What was his diet plan?

“No carbs. I have cheated a couple times, but basically no carbs, not even a cracker. No bread at all. No pizza, nothing. No corn, no beans, no starches of any kind. Egg whites in the morning or like, Greek yogurt, cut some fruit.”

We think it’s fantastic that Drew took control of his health! What do you think of Drew’s weight loss?
