John Mayer’s body is definitely a wonderland and Us Weekly is reporting how he keeps it that way! John has been practicing Krav Maga, an intense form of self-defense used by the Israeli army, for the past 5 months. His trainer, James Sherman, works out with the singer up to five days a week at NYC’s Rich Barretta Private Training Studio. Sherman says,
He enjoys the speed, power and confidence.”

It’s something that I think one is able to truly understand only when they are able to.
From what I gather, it’s all about using your mind to outwit your opponent as much as your physical skills.
Krav Maga probably uses some of the same concepts, from what I can see.
BTW, I love your site.
I practiced JKD for a few years but gave up after a back injury. It’s definately a good way to practice self defence and certainly came in handy a couple of times when I was jumped.

after taking krav maga for about two years, i can say from first hand experience that krav maga is the most effective and PRACTICAL form of self-defense available to the public. unlike other martial-arts, krav maga utilizes a kill or be killed type of mentality…. address the threat and eliminate it.
it is a mix of the very most effective techniques from every martial art
