Camila Alves Postbaby Brazilian Philosophy

Camila Alves Brazilian Postbaby Philosophy

Camila Alves, looks unbelievable after giving birth to baby, Levi, with Matthew McConaughey on July 7, 2008!  According to Us Weekly, the model credits her brazilian beliefs saying that you,

“need to give your body 40 days of rest, meaning no exercise and very light food – mostly soups – in the first days, so your body can naturally go back to where it was before.”

Camila also speaks out about breast feeding saying it,

“is the best diet, I must say!”

As for her gym routine… well, don’t look for her hitting the elliptical anytime soon.  She loves to be active, and even did yoga and went swimming while pregnant, but she doesn’t like the idea of working out daily.

I say after the two days of labor she went through, she’s definitely entitled to those 40 days of rest!

Maybe the “losing the baby weight” holy grail is in Brazil. She looks fantastic.

AND, although I love working out regularly, I’m sure that breast feeding and being a new mom is workout enough for 40 days. :)
