Bond Girl, Gemma Arterton, Refuses To Lose Weight

Bond girl Gemma Arterton is refusing to lose weight after she was criticized by the press for appearing noticeably curvier earlier this year.

Tabloid newspapers mocked the actress in January after she appeared to have put on weight following her role in the 007 hit Quantum of Solace.

But while the British beauty admits she was hurt by the comments, she remains proud of her curves.

She says,

“I refuse to conform to this muscly, sinewy look that so many actresses seem to think is attractive. I hate it and I don’t think it’s very feminine.”

And critics of Arterton’s looks will be silenced after hearing about her next role.  The Bond Girl says,

“I’m about to shoot a new movie and the first scenes involve me wearing a brown paper bag over my head, so that should shut people up.”

She looks gorgeous. If people have a problem with what she looks like in this photo, which is sexy, curvy, and healthy, then perhaps THEY are the ones with the issue. At some point, this whole unhealthy need for everyone to look like they’re anorexic is going to implode. Probably not until someone very famous dies because of it.

Agree with sunshine, Gemma looks beautiful and healthy. Why asking her to lose weight if she’s not overweight? Hope Gemma gets over the hurt feeling soon and move on with her life.
