Valerie Bertinelli, who lost 40 pounds on Jenny Craig, says she doesn’t ever envision a day when she will stop dieting — and that’s a good thing! The actress said,
“I told someone the other day that even when I am not their spokesperson anymore — which I hope never happens — I’m going to stay on Jenny Craig forever,”
It’s really great that she’s found something that works for her and plans on sticking with it. She also added,
“I want my consultant Kathy Brumwell to stay in my life. We have a really great relationship and she gives me lots of tips. She helps me stay grounded and feel like I’m not drowning anymore.”
Valerie says her favorite foods on the program are chicken fajitas and cheese curls.
Have any of you tried Jenny Craig? I would love to hear your thoughts on the diet.

One response to "Valerie Bertinelli Will Be on Jenny Craig Forever"
I was on Jenny Craig for a few months and lost about 15 pounds. But as soon as I got off, I gained 10lbs back. It is a great diet, and it does work, but unless you want to live on their food forever, you’re not learning how to eat right and keep the weight off. The best diet for me was one I custom-made for myself that just involves eating healthy, and watching calories – which is basically what ALL these other diets do – except I’m in control and I know I can do *this* forever. Since doing my own thing – I’ve lost that 10lbs again plus another 10lbs and I’m still going. I detailed my experience here: http://theworkingmom.net/2009/07/14/diet-is-a-four-letter-word/
Still, I think it’s awesome that Valerie lost her weight and I cheer her on! But not all of us can afford (or want) to be on something like Jenny Craig for the rest of our lives.
